Caitlyn Jenner could make up to $100,000 (£65,000) per appearance as a motivational speaker following her transition into a woman, it has emerged.

TMZ reports that the transgender Olympian, who made her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair, is now considered to be a more valuable asset than her former self Bruce Jenner.

The celebrity site claims that while Bruce was known for his reluctance to embrace social media, Jenner is more than happy to revel in the spotlight - which will ultimately strengthen her earning power.

After launching her certified Twitter account to coincide with the unveiling of her female identity she amassed one million Twitter followers in four hours, the fastest time in the history of the social-networking site.

"I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world [of] Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me," her Twitter bio reads.

An outspoken Caitlyn could see her payday jump from $25,000 to as much as $100,000.

Jenner has been championed as a hero of the transgender community after her big reveal wearing a gold corset with luscious blonde locks tumbling in soft waves in a photo captured by renowned fashion photographer Annie Leibovitz.

In her coming out story she said: "If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying: 'You just blew your entire life. You never dealt with yourself,' and I don't want that to happen."

Jenner is now expected to document her journey to becoming a woman in an eight-part series on E! Entertainment entitled I am Cait.

"I'm going to go enjoy life. I have nothing left to hide. I am kind of a free person, a free soul," she vowed. "To be able to wake up in the morning, be yourself, get dressed, get ready to go out, and just be like a normal person. That's a wonderful feeling to go through life."
