Full-time: Crystal Palace 0-1 West Ham United

Brilliant save from Adrian! Palace finally get a good ball into the box through Townsend and Wickham nods it back on goal from a tight angle, only for the Hammers goalkeeper to claw it away. Terrific reaction save.

Four minutes of time added on here.

Another chance passed up by Benteke... This time he gets on the end of a knockdown 12 yards out but miscues his half volley, sending it well wide of Adrian's goal.

Here's another change for West Ham with Edimilson Fernandes on for Payet.

Cresswell started his return game brilliantly but it has just come to an abrupt end. Moments after being booked for diving, he is penalised again for fouling Zaha as the Palace man breaks down the right flank. The referee consults his linesman and a second yellow is shown. West Ham will play the final 12 minutes with 10 men.

RED CARD - Aaron Cresswell

Antonio and then Cresswell go down in the box and the full-back screams for a penalty, feeling Cayabe took him out there. The decision is given in Palace's favour however and Cresswell is booked for simulation.

An attacking change for Palace here, James McArthur comes off for Connor Wickham. He'll join Benteke up front.

Another poor final ball from Palace; this time it's Zaha who overhits a cross and ends a promising move. Palace have been much improved his half, but they need to start making this growing pressure count.

And the free-kick is... awful. Townsend slides it short to Ward who miscontrols the ball before lifting a dreadful ball straight out of play.

Zaha plays a brilliant one two with Cabaye and Ogbonna is caught wrong side of him. He hauls down the Palace winger just as he is about to break into the box and accepts his booking.

Cabaye does well again, shifting the ball wide to Townsend who cuts inside and looks to curl one past Adrian. He can't quite get the direction on it however and the West Ham goalkeeper easily catches.

Yohan Cabaye, introduced at half-time, has certainly helped Palace, bringing a more measured tempo to their midfield. He finds himself with some space to shoot on the edge of the D but drags his effort just wide.

No real chances for either side in this second half. Zaza takes an absolute age to get a shot off, drifting further and further wide of the goal before finally hitting a tame effort that he slices wide.

And we are back underway for the second half.

Half-time: Crystal Palace 0-1 West Ham

Benteke almost redeems himself! Townsend lifts a superb ball in from the right that the Belgium leaps to meet, but Adrian pushed his header onto the post and out. West Ham survive, and that will be that for the first-half.

Oh dear, Benteke. The Belgium steps up and sends his spot kick high and wide. Dreadful.

Benteke is felled by a clumsy challenge from Obiang and Palace have a great chance to pull one back just before half-time!

PENALTY - Crystal Palace

Another West Ham corner comes in that Zaza gets his head to, nodding it into the ground with the bounce taking it over the bar. It must have taken a deflection as another corner is awarded.

Obiang scampers over one challenge but almost has his legs taken from him by Ward. The Spaniard tries to keep going, but despite his best efforts, tumbles to the floor. West Ham have the free kick but Zaza's flick on is sent wide.

Mark Noble now defends brilliantly, tracking Zaha all the way just as the Palace man leaps to meet a fine cross from Townsend.

Kouyate and Benteke and go up for the same ball inside the six yard area and the West Ham man makes a brilliant defensive header, steering the ball away from the Palace striker.

The rain is still hammering down at Selhurst Park but at least it has woken Palace up a bit.

Mark Noble picks up the first yellow of the match after crashing into Andros Townsend.

Terrific goal from West Ham! Payet and Cresswell exchange passes patiently down the left before suddenly stepping up the pace with the France international springing the returning full-back free down the wing. His delivery is excellent and so is Lanzini's run in the box, opening up his body to steer a fine finish past Mandanda.

Goal! Crystal Palace 0-1 West Ham (Manuel Lanzini, 18)

West Ham are piling on the pressure. From a corner kick, Ledley just about gets across Antonio in time to deflect his effort wide. From the follow up corner Kouyate leaps across to meet Payet's delivery but powers wide.

Good chance for Zaha! West Ham has started with three at the back and it is leaving loads of room back there for Palace to exploit. The former Manchester United winger collects the ball on the edge of the box and hits an effort low and hard across goal, but he skews it well wide.

West Ham have started very well here. Payet and Lanzini combine in midfield and the latter slides a cute ball through the middle for Zaza, but there is just too much on the pass and Mandanda can collect again.

Cresswell again does well, showing quick feet to nip inside from the left and slide a ball into Zaza. He works a yard of space to turn and shoot, but his tame effort is easily saved by Mandanda.

Cresswell certainly doesn't look rusty despite his lengthy layoff. He has acres of space to run into down the left and is picked out by Noble. His first touch is good and allows him to drive into the box and with Zaza nowhere to be seen, has little alternative but to have a crack on goal. It's a powerful effort, but swerves wide of the post.

Simone Zaza tries to scamper into space down the left flank but James Tomkins, a former West Ham player, nips across to dispossess him.

And Palace get us started.

We are moments away from kick-off at Selhurst Park and it is chucking it down in south east London.

James Tomkins and Damien Delaney start at the heart of centre-half with Scott Dann still unavailable, while Andros Townsend and Wilfried Zaha again start in support of Christian Benteke up front.

Slaven Bilic makes three changes to his side and as expected, Aaron Cresswell starts for the first time this season. Manuel Lanzini and Simone Zaza are also in.

BREAKING: Simone Zaza starts up front for West Ham.

Team news: West Ham

The Hammers welcome back Aaron Cresswell this afternoon. The left-back has not played a game this season but is back in contention today, with Jonathan Calleri also fit once again. Gokhan Tore picked up a muscular injury during the international break, joining Andre Ayew and Arthur Masuaku on the sidelines.

Team news: Crystal Palace

Scott Dann is still not available having failed to recover in time from his hamstring injury but Alan Pardew is hopeful his centre-half with be ready in time for next week's trip to Leicester City. Apart from long-term absentees Pape Soare and Loic Remy, the Palace boss has no fresh injury concerns.
