Delhi Daredevils come into this match after beating Mumbai Indians in the last fixture at home. Zaheer Khan's side posted a total of 164, thanks to Sanju Samson's 60 and an unbeaten 49 from J P Duminy.
Rohit Sharma was the star player for the defending champions with the bat, but was run out for 65. Krunal Pandya, who managed 36, was also run out and his dismissal saw Mumbai Indians losing momentum. They eventually lost the match by 10 runs.
Gujarat Lions enter this match after defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last tie and even that was in front of their home fans. Virat Kohli's maiden IPL century saw his side post a total of 180.
However, that was not sufficient for RCB as the Lions chased the target with three balls to spare. An overall contribution with the bat helped Suresh Raina's side seal a six-wicket victory.
