Drake Sparks Backlash Over 'Weird' and 'Creepy' Instagram Post About Gracie Abrams' Birthmark
The rapper, 38, compared his own birthmark to the singer's in an Instagram Story, prompting fans to call the comment 'uncomfortable' and 'corny'.

Drake has found himself facing another wave of online criticism after posting what many fans called a 'weird' and 'uncomfortable' message about singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams. The 38-year-old rapper shared a close-up photo of Abrams' birthmark on his Instagram Stories alongside a similar image of his own, writing: 'I used to hate my birthmark but Gracie got the same one so now it's art.'
The post quickly drew backlash, with social media users accusing him of being 'creepy' and 'corny'. While Drake has previously praised Abrams' music, notably the beat switch in her track I Knew It, I Know You, the pair are not known to be close. Abrams, 25, is currently dating actor Paul Mescal, prompting some fans to question why the rapper continues to publicly comment on her.

comparing Drake to Gracie is disgusting. Gracie was a teenager who made a mistake eight years ago and has clearly grown since. Meanwhile Drake has had a well documented history of predatory brehaviour 😭 when will y'all stop using serious issues to spread a BASELESS NARRATIVE https://t.co/60yy2UsBt5

Drake, who is touring with PARTYNEXTDOOR to promote their joint project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, has yet to respond to the criticism. The incident adds to a growing list of eyebrow-raising online moments from the For All the Dogs artist, who is also preparing to release his upcoming solo album Iceman. Whether intended as a heartfelt remark or just another example of social media misjudgment, the reaction has been swift and far from flattering.
