Juventus sealed a 3-1 aggregate victory over Lyon to make it to the semi-final of the Europa League. The first leg away from home saw Antonio Conte's side register a 1-0 win away from home. In the return leg, the Italian champions managed a 2-1 victory at home, thus progressing to the last four of the competition.

Benfica

Benfica had no worries in progressing to the last four as they defeated AZ Alkmaar 3-0 on aggregate. The Portuguese side made it to the final of last season, only to lose to Chelsea in the final minutes of the game.

Benfica would be looking for a win in the two-legged semi-final clash to win the Europa League this season.

Sevilla

The Spanish side defeated FC Porto 4-2 on aggregate. The first leg in Portugal saw the Primeira Liga champions register a 1-0 win. Despite having the advantage, Porto failed to progress as Sevilla had a crushing 4-1 win over their quarter-final opponent in making it to the last four for the Europa League.

Valencia

Valencia progressed to the semi-final of the second tier of the European club competition after overcoming a 3-0 first leg deficit against FC Basel. The Spanish outfit sealed a 5-0 victory in the home leg, to win the two-legged quarter-final tie 5-3 on aggregate.
