After receiving massive criticism for Dilwale, Shah Rukh Khan is getting rave reviews from critics for his thriller Fan Yash Raj Films

It was double delight for filmgoers as Shah Rukh Khan's latest movie Fan, which released worldwide on 15 April received resounding praise. Not only does the film feature the Bollywood superstar in a double role, his fans have applauded the actor's performance – at least on the Twitter.

After attracting massive criticism for his previous movie Dilwale, expectations were high from the Maneesh Sharma-directed film, where SRK played the role of a superstar named Aryan Khanna and the role of a 25-year-old obsessed fan named Gaurav Chandana.

While, early reviews of the movie – produced by Yash Raj Films – have given it a thumbs-up, many critics have appreciated the 50-year-old superstar's performance in the thriller, where he is fighting an obsessed fan. The movie goes on to portray the youngsters love for the superstar turn into hatred.

Audience reviews have been positive so far and seems like fans are awestruck with Gaurav, they claim the end of the film is epic. Here are some tweets by fans who saw the first show of Fan.
