Step 4: Launch Odin on computer as an Administrator and connect the tablet to it via USB cable.

Step 5: When the tablet is successfully connected, a message reading "Added!" will appear in Odin's message box. At this point, the ID: COM box will also turn yellow with the corresponding COM port number. [Note: In case the Added message fails to appear, then try another USB port. If that does not work then try reinstalling the tablet's USB drivers on computer.]

Step 8: Verify if step 6 and step 7 are done correctly. Then click the Start button in Odin to begin installation.

Step 9: Once the firmware installation is complete, a PASS message with green background appears in the extreme left box at the top of Odin. The tablet will now automatically reboot and soon the Samsung logo should appear on the screen. Now safely unplug the USB cable from the tablet to disconnect it from the computer.

Note: If the tablet gets stuck at booting animation (after step-9) then return to recovery mode and perform data wiping task by selecting Wipe Data/factory Reset and then select Reboot System Now.
