Jennifer Lopez may have bagged herself a residency at Caesars Palace after her recent performance at the Las Vegas hotspot went down a storm.

According to TMZ, the 45-year-old pop star passed the "Vegas Residency Test" when she took to the stage on New Years Eve.

Not only did the show sell out, the Booty hit maker also earned an impressive $410,000 payday.

The site reports that NYE was somewhat of a test run, with Caesars Palace now eager to sign her up for a residency stint.

Although Lopez' potential signing fee has not be disclosed , it is believed that she stands to make somewhere near the $30m Britney Spears is receiving for her two-year residency.

Sir Elton John, Rod Stewart and Celine Dion are just a few of the names Caesars Palace resort has hosted.

New York Post's Page Six previously reported that Caesars Palace was also trying to lure Mariah Carey with a multimillion deal, but the singer has reservations about a residency so far from her home on the east coast.

"Mariah doesn't want to go to Vegas. She put out feelers to the Borgata in Atlantic City and the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut about a mini residency," the source said.

"She wants a stable, high-paying gig that will keep her close to her New York home. Mariah is crossing her fingers that she can figure out a way to make money on her own turf."
