Deportivo La Coruna are keen to sign Liverpool duo Luis Alberto and Tiago Ilori during the summer transfer window after they failed to break into the Reds first-team following their arrival in 2013. The former is on a season-long loan at the La Liga club, while the latter is with the Merseyside club after returning from a failed loan spell with Aston Villa.

According to the Spanish publication AS, Deportivo's top priority is Alberto, who has been impressive thus far this campaign with six goals and five assists. They are keen to complete the deal before other interested club's make their move for the Spaniard. The report claims that they are also willing to accept another season-long loan.

The 23-year-old is contracted to the Merseyside club until the summer of 2018, and with La Liga clubs now showing an interest in signing him the Reds could recoup most of the £6.8m ($9.6m) they paid when they signed him from Sevilla.

Apart from the forward, the Estadio Riazor outfit are also keen on signing Ilori, who only made his Liverpool debut earlier this year in the FA Cup against Exeter City, despite joining the club from Sporting Lisbon in 2013. He has spent the last two-and-a-half seasons on loan at Granada, Bordeaux and most recently at Villa Park, where he failed to make even a single appearance during the first-half of the season before being called back due to an injury crisis at Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to hold on to the former Portugal U21 international as he already has other options in central defence. Joel Matip has been signed on free transfer from Schalke, while Dejan Lovren, Mamdou Sakho and youngster Joe Gomez are also ahead of the Portuguese defender in the pecking order.
