Liverpool youngster Allan Rodrigues de Souza has joined Belgian club Sint-Truidense for the remainder of the 2015-16 as he continues his development. The 18-year-old spent part of the first half of the season with Finnish side Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho, where he helped the team win their first domestic title.

Allan returned to Merseyside to meet with Reds manager Jurgen Klopp and having worked with the German coach albeit briefly, he will be sent out on a second spell to build his experience. The Brazilian is not yet available to play for the first team as he is yet to obtain a visa but is due to return in the summer to take up a full-time role at Anfield.

Klopp spent part of the international break in October 2015 meeting with some of Liverpool's throng of loan players, before calling the likes of Tiago Ilori, Ryan Kent and Sheyi Ojo to play in the FA Cup third-round tie against Exeter City. The trio, who all made their debuts in the 2-2 draw, are expected to make their home bows in the replay at Anfield on 20 January.

Despite several players having left the club, Allan becomes the second player loaned out by Liverpool during the January transfer window following the departure of Marko Grujic. The Serbia Under-21 international became the first signing made by Klopp when he arrived from Red Star Belgrade but he has been sent back to his former side for the rest of the campaign.

Seven players remain out on loan until the end of the season, including another Serbian in the form of winger Lazar Markovic who is currently at Fenerbahce. The 21-year-old failed to impress during his first season at Liverpool and admits he is uncertain what the future holds. "I'm trying to do my best. I came here for the championship", he told Lig TV, according to FourFourTwo. "Currently I am focused on that goal. What happens at the end of the season, we will see."
