Manchester United are starting a new era under Jose Mourinho after the Portuguese tactician was appointed as the new Red Devils manager in May. He returned to management just months after he was dismissed from his position at Chelsea.

Mourinho replaced Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford after United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward showed the Dutchman the exit door, just days after he guided them to the FA Cup triumph. Since the former Inter Milan and Real Madrid boss has taken charge at United, he has helped the 20-time English champions complete key transfers.

The Red Devils have already signed defender Eric Bailly, Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The centre-back and the ex-Borussia Dortmund star will be part of all the pre-season fixtures, while Ibrahimovic is likely to make his first appearance in a United shirt against Galatasaray in Sweden later this month.

After a short trip to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Athletic on 16 July, Mourinho and his men will travel to China. On their return, they will have a stopover in Sweden, before returning to Manchester. In China, United will play against Dortmund their local rivals Manchester City.
