Celebrities walked the red carpet in style at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit celebrating the opening of 'PUNK: Chaos to Couture' in New York.

Jennifer Lawrence was the stunner at the event, and wore a black Christian Dior dress, and combined it with Brian Atwood shoes, and a Jennifer Behr headband. Kristen Stewart opted for a Stella McCartney outfit and Beyonce, the evening's honorary chairwoman went for a Givenchy dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Emma Watson went for a Prabal Gurung dress and Miley Cyrus rocked in a Marc Jacobs dress with Prada shoes, Eddie Borgo jewellery and spiked her hair. Taylor Swift looked elegant in a J Mendel dress and clutch, Givenchy shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Cameron Diaz wore a Stella McCartney blue crepe gown with cape, gold spiked belt and platform stud sandals and wooden box clutch. Katy Perry chose a Dolce & Gabbana outfit and teamed it up with a crown. Olivia Wilde wore a Calvin Klein Collection custom ivory matte satin bandeau dress with black pleats, and Fred Leighton jewellery.

Jessica Alba looked gorgeous in a Tory Burch dress, Jack Vartanian jewels, Christian Louboutin shoes and bag, and a Fallon hair accessory. Meanwhile, Madonna opted for punk style and dressed up in Givenchy outfit and Casadei shoes.

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a pink Valentino dress with accessorised it with Wilfredo Rosado earrings. Jennifer Lopez stunned all in a Michael Kors dress with Dana Rebecca Designs and Rona Pfeiffer jewellery.

Kim Kardashian, who was accompanied with her boyfriend Kanye West, wore a floral print Riccardo Tisci dress and gloves with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery. Amanda Seyfried wore in a Givenchy dress and shoes with Fred Leighton jewellery.
