Kid Rock MAGA Festival-Goer Says She Felt 'Robbed Blind' After Paying $13 for a Slice of Pizza

A festival-goer at the Rock The Country 2026 event says she felt 'robbed blind' after paying $13 for a single slice of pizza, adding to a string of complaints about steep food and drink prices inside the venue.

The attendee made the claim after travelling seven hours from New York City to the festival at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York, where she says basic meals and beverages came with prices well above what she expected at a fairground-style event.

The two-day Rock The Country tour wrapped up its nationwide run this weekend in Hamburg, New York, with Hank Williams Jr. headlining Friday and Kid Rock headlining Saturday alongside Gavin Adcock and Nelly. The attendee said her ticket and parking costs totalled $169.64 before she entered the festival.

High Prices Define Rock the Country Experience

Once inside, the visitor said she encountered $12 beers, $13 slices of pizza and $5 bottles of water inside the venue, prices she described as 'outrageous' for what she called 'basic bland fair food.'

On Friday night, she said a simple order of chicken fingers and fries cost $20, arrived at room temperature and she described them as largely tasteless, leaving her to rely on a condiment station to make the meal edible.

By Saturday, after Kid Rock's headlining set, which she described the DJing as 'bizarre' and the Dolly Parton tribute as 'screeching,' and she said the set included patriotic imagery featuring President Donald Trump, all she wanted was a late-night bite. That is when she said she only realised after paying that the $13 purchase was for a single slice of pizza, which she later likened to Little Caesars in taste.

She adds that she washed it down with the last sips of a 'nice warm' $13 Michelob Ultra, having already decided against buying a third $5 water bottle for the day.

Merchandise stalls at the festival were reportedly selling $65 hoodies, $45 T-shirts, $40 baseball caps and $35 'tucker hats,' with the visitor saying $15 rocker bandanas were already sold out by the time she reached the merchandise table.

Mixed Reactions to Rock The Country Atmosphere

Beyond the cost, the attendee says she was taken aback by some of the behaviour among fellow concert-goers. According to the attendee, she heard an unidentified man say that Muslims did not belong in the country and believed some nearby people cheered.

Later, she also said a group of men nearby made comments about Adcock's body while he performed shirtless during 'Last One to Know, which she says 'left a bad taste in my mouth' as a fan of the singer.

It is worth noting that Rock The Country 2026 was not without its positives. The visitor praised what she described as speedy entry and exit, and she said the event was well-staffed, with no wait longer than 15 minutes when buying food, drinks or merchandise and no more than five minutes for the toilets, and she had no trouble finding parking on either day.

Musically, she rated the headliners highly, singling out Hank Williams Jr., Gavin Adcock and Nelly, as well as several smaller acts, for their 'high energy, incredible vocals, and memorable displays' including fireworks and confetti.
