We should celebrate the freedom of movement within the EU, and the Green Party would campaign on any referendum for the UK to stay in the European Union, according to Natalie Bennett.

Speaking in the second part of an exclusive three-part interview with IBTimes UK, the Green Party leader said that the free movement of people has been of great benefit to Britain, and that failed government policy, not immigration, was the reasons why there is a current strain on public resources in the UK.

"We should celebrate the free movement of people within the EU, which works both ways. The number of continental Europeans here is roughly equal to the number of British people on the continent, and that gives people many more choices, more opportunities in their life that they wouldn't have otherwise," she said.
