The second match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will see Karachi Kings take on Lahore Qalandar at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, on 5 February, Friday.

Where to watch

The match will start at 11am GMT. Live coverage of the game is available in the UK on Prime TV.

Overview

Following the explosive start to the inaugural Pakistan Super League, on 4 February, the Karachi Kings outfit led by Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik will be looking to get off to a winning start of their own, when they take on Lahore Qalandar in the second game at Dubai.

The Karachi Kings have experienced T20 campaigners like Shakib-Al Hasan, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Lendl Simmons in their ranks while the local presence is bolstered by the presence of Mohammad Amir and Sohail Tanvir. If the Kings are to get off to a winning start, the above names would need to be on top of their game.

Billed as the team to beat, the Lahore Qalandars led by Azhar Ali have a certain Chris Gayle in their team, who was at his imperious best in the recently concluded Big Bash League. Add Dwayne Bravo, Kevon Cooper, Yasir Shah and Abdul Razzaq to the mix and the Qalandars have a well balanced squad. Both sides have got special players and it will take something special to separate these two teams on the field.

Prediction

Karachi Kings to win
