Pod2g on Hire: Offers Services in iOS Development and Security Research

Renowned iOS developer and hacker, pod2g (aka Cyril), recently made a comeback to the jailbreak scene, as confirmed by Jay Freeman (aka Saurik) - the founder of Cydia. Just a week ago, another renowned member of the jailbreak Dream Team, planetbeing, revealed his jailbroken iPhone 5 running iOS 6.0.2.

Pod2g has already confirmed his availability for further research on iOS 6 untethered jailbreak exploits. However, his future iOS development projects will reportedly be offered as a paid service.

As iDownloadBlog notes, the 30-year-old French hacker recently released his first iOS app, podDJ. With his first iOS app-project out of the way, pod2g is reportedly looking for a new project on hire. The veteran hacker is eager to offer his special skill sets on hire for iOS development and security research projects.

Talking about his new venture - 2G lab dot com, pod2g had this to say in his recent blog post:

"Hi. You reader certainly know that I have not been really present in the security field since a few months now. The reason of this was the creation of my company, 2G Lab, focusing on 2 different areas : development and security research.

"Now that our first application, named podDJ is out to the AppStore, we will focus on both subjects. If you have a project that you would like 2G Lab to work on, contact us: contact at 2g-lab dot com."

Now jailbreak fans seeking any help from pod2g, may have to shell out the contract service charges, for any work related to the elusive untethered jailbreak for iOS 6. Nevertheless, the other members of Dream Team of hackers are actively working on the untethered iPhone 5 jailbreak, and preserving their valuable exploits for the release of iOS 6.1 from Apple.
