Real Madrid will look to continue their fine pre-season form when they lock horns with Italian giants AC Milan in the International Champions Cup in Shanghai on 30 July.

Where to watch live

Kick-off is set for 1pm BST. The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports 1 HD.

Overview

Goals from Jese Rodriguez, Rafael Varane and James Rodriguez helped Real Madrid to a thumping 3-0 victory over AC Milan's cross-town rivals Inter in Guangzhou on 27 July. The Spanish heavyweights also routed Manchester City 4-1 in Australia last week and appear to be settling in nicely under new coach Rafael Benitez.

The Inter match saw summer signing Kiko Casilla make a solid debut for Real, after he was brought on as a substitute at the start of the second half. Los Blancos are still keen on bringing in Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea as a long-term replacement for Iker Casillas, who left the club to join Porto earlier this summer.

AC Milan endured a nightmare 2014/15 season which saw the seven-time European champions finish a lowly 10th in Serie A. The Lombard club last won the league in 2011 and have since finished second, third, eighth and 10th. The Rossoneri sacked coach Filippo Inzaghi and installed Sinisa Mihajlovic as his replacement on a two-year-deal last month.

The Italian giants have shown decent pre-season form, though, and beat bitter rivals Inter 1-0 in their last outing, thanks to a spectacular goal from Philippe Mexes.

What managers say

Rafael Benitez: "The players showed a really good attitude [against Inter Milan]. That allows us to defend and continue to attack well. The team is gradually getting into good form. I am very happy.

"The level of competition among the goalkeepers is always good. They did not have a lot of work today, but they both did well and it is positive to know that I always have an alternative choice of keeper."
