Newly-appointed Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is aiming to produce a trademark attacking performance from the Spanish giants at the Santiago Bernabeu against Deportivo La Coruna. Tickets for the match have reportedly been sold out, with Real fans expected to be out in force to give one of the club's greatest players a warm welcome to management.

Right-back Dani Carvajal is expected to return after recovering from a calf problem, but playmaker Mateo Kovacic is suspended.

Meanwhile, Deportivo La Coruna, won just one of their last seven games across all competitions, but are on a six-match unbeaten run away from home. The Galician outfit have ended up on the losing side in eight of their last nine head-to-head meetings with Real Madrid.

Midfielders Celso Borges and Cani are both injured and will miss the trip to the capital.

Zinedine Zidane: "The idea is to play with the three of them (Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema). It is important to see attractive football and that is the line I will look to go down. Attacking and balanced."

Victor Sanchez: "We have no permanent objective and that is what we have said from the beginning of the season. We want to achieve safety as soon as possible and so the perspective is to win every game to secure it as early as possible."
