First there was Zeddie Little, whose candid photographs spread like wildfire across the Internet, earning him the title of Ridiculously Photogenic Guy. Now, it seems, we welcome his counterpart - the Ridiculously Photogenic Girl - to the Internet!

When Rachel (whose last name is not known) posted a photograph of herself on the Ask Me Anything section of Reddit - under the user name WhosThatGirl_ItsRach - little did she know she would be honoured with a similar title to Zeddie Little.

Rachel suffers from congenital emphysema, which she contracted after pneumonia. She then went through lung surgery, at a hospital in the US state of Ohio, where she posted a post-op photograph with the caption: "Lose 60% of her lung... wins 100% of my heart."

That photograph received more than 400,000 views in a few days and went viral. It also helped that she posted this message:

"They stopped my epidural for awhile [sic] yesterday. I wanted to die. My incisions and tubes and lungs were on fire. I wanted to scream but moving and making noise made it worse. I thought I was going to pass out from holding my breath. I'm scared right now. I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm just SO afraid. It's making me cry thinking about it. I feel so helpless right now. Yesterday was agony," she wrote.

The Internet responded with oceans of messages of support.

"People have been saying so many nice things about me the last few days. I've never felt more beautiful," the 28 year old told Yahoo.

One comment, from a Daily mail report, read: "As a woman my first thought was "Fake. No one looks that good after surgery!" You are beautiful! Good luck with the recovery :)."

Another read: "'Damn, I wish I had looked this good after my surgeries."
