Humaira Asghar Ali Had Been Dead For 2 Weeks Before Being Discovered: Cause Of Death And What Was She Known For?
Authorities have ruled out murder as the cause of death.

In a tragic turn of events, the police has found the body of Humaira Asghar Ali decomposing in a Karachi apartment roughly two weeks after she died.
The 32-year-old was already in a 'very advanced stage of decomposition' when her body was transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, according to Police surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed.
Ali had been living in the apartment by herself but stopped paying the landlord rent in 2024, Images reported. This prompted the landlord to approach the court to have Ali removed from the flat in the Ittehad Commercial area.
At 3.15 pm on 8 July, police were sent to the apartment on court orders to have it vacated.
They discovered Ali's decomposing body after breaking the door open when no one responded to the police's knocks.
Authorities Still Investigating Her Death
Police have ruled out murder as the cause of death due to there being no signs of forced entry.
The iron gate and balcony door had both been locked from the inside when police forced their way into Ali's apartment, as was the balcony door. South SSP Mahzoor Ali told Images that police are waiting for the coroner's final report before they can identify the exact cause of death.
Ali's cellphone is being used by police to trace her relatives.
