Chris Brown's friends want the American singer to reunite with former girlfriend, Barbadian singer/actress Rihanna. The 26-year-old R&B singer's close ones feel the 27-year-old FourFiveSeconds hitmaker is the one for him.

"His friends are trying to make the case for him and it's not like RiRi don't love him anymore, she still does, but she is much more mature and focus now and will not settle for anything that is not serious and fully committed," a source told celebrity gossip website, Urban Islandz.

In 2009, Brown had assaulted the five-time Grammy winner. He hit her so forcefully that she had major bruising on her face, a split lip, and a bloody nose. However, the two of them still have a strong and complicated bond, despite their public breakup and drama.

"They are pretty much saying what we all already know that he loves RiRi a lot more that his other old girl, but love alone won't cut it, he will have to be patient and chant a lot of stuffs about his lifestyle," the insider added. "His friends are pushing him to go get your girl before someone else does."

Last month, the Loyal singer had admitted that he was still in love with Rihanna and during a recent concert, Brown performed his rendition of Rihanna's latest hit B***h Better Have My Money. Meanwhile, in an interview with Daily Mail, Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty had revealed that his daughter and Brown will not be getting back together.

"I don't know what their relationship is now. At the basketball, they just said 'hi and hello'. When we was going to the car park he was trying to talk with her but she turned and was talking to somebody else, so he came and talked to me and I had a picture with him. Afterwards Robyn said, 'dad you really taking pictures with he though?'" [sic] he said.

"Let her do what she wants to do. This recycling thing don't work for everything, people don't ask me if I could go back with Ms Fenty.

"Chris is a player, he ain't ready for no one women yet, he ain't ready. He's a party guy," Fenty added.
