Roger Federer will take on Sam Querrey in the Men's single second round clash of the 2015 Wimbledon on Thursday, 2 July.

Overview

Federer had a comfortable victory over Damir Dzumhur in the first round of the Wimbledon as the world number two sealed the match in straight sets 6-1, 6-3, 6-3 to make it to the next round of tournament.

The Bosnian was no match for the 33-year-old as he showcased his talent in the opening match of the third Grand Slam event of the year. With seven Wimbledon titles and 15 trophies on grass, Federer will be one of the firm favourites to lift the title this year.

Meanwhile, Querrey also made it to the second round after sealing a straight set victory over Igor Sijsling. After a tough first set, which saw the American win the opening set 7-5, while Querrey had easy wins in the second and third set to seal the match 7-5, 6-3, 6-4.

The 27-year-old will be hoping for an upset and will be keen on progressing to the next round by defeating Federer.
