The trailer of Shahrukh Khan's upcoming movie, Happy New Year, has broken all the records, reaching seven crore people across the world.
This was the first time that newer platforms on digital medium were opened for the trailer keeping the user preference in mind, reported Times of India.
Banking heavily on the user preference, the film's marketing team used all possible digital platforms -- social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube), mobile (VAS), DTH & application economy -- to ensure a large reach for the trailer.
The total views of the trailer from all platforms crossed a record breaking number of four million on the launch day itself. The Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt. Ltd's marketing strategy worked very well for the movie.
After the successful trailer launch, SRK and his team are gearing up for their first song release this week. The song Indiawaale will be officially unveiled on 31 August.
A part of the song is played in the trailer, which has already become an internet sensation. SRK fans across the globe are waiting to see the full song and mostly his dance moves in the song.

From colourful surroundings to huge bollywood sets, the Indiawaale number is pegged to have a typical Farah Khan touch, something in the lines of her previous movie Om Shanti Om songs. Also, all the actors are seen wearing the tricolour, which will definitely touch the Indian sentiments.
The dance-heist film, which goes with the caption, Todenge Taale- Indiawaale is definitely one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The film is slated for a Diwali release.
