After eight attempts, a pregnant Duchess of Cambridge finally got the shot in.

Kate shot some hoops during their visit to a leisure centre in the Glasgow on Thursday (April 4th).

The royal couple, known for their love of sports, could not resist picking up a racket for a short game of table tennis. They were later joined by two boys from the local table tennis club for a game of doubles.

"Catherine and I have thoroughly enjoyed spending part of the afternoon with you. Catherine - who, you may have noticed, is limited a little in the sports she can play right now - has had to hold herself back from grabbing a tennis racquet and challenging me to a full game. I am far too much of a gentleman to say who would win, but you all saw for yourselves," William said in a speech delivered to a gathering of young people inside the Glasgow Club Donald Dewar leisure centre in the Drum chapel area of the city.

William tried his hand at playing DJ when the couple earlier visited a centre that provides short-term accommodation and support to young people who have alcohol, drug, mental problems and needing shelter.

The royal couple, who are expecting their baby in July, will end their visit to Scotland on Friday (April 5th).
