Tottenham will face Atletico Madrid and Juventus in the International Champions Cup in Melbourne Getty

Tottenham Hotspur began their pre-season campaign with a training ground clash against Nottingham Forest, which they won 3-0. But their true pre-season campaign begins on 26 July when they take on Juventus in the International Champions Cup during their tour of Australia. Three days after their clash against the Serie A champions they face Ateltico Madrid in the same competition at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, which is the same venue as their first match.

Their tour of Australia will be followed by a trip to Norway, where they face Inter Milan at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, which will be their final pre-season game before the start of the 2016/17 Premier League campaign.

Mauricio Pochettino has announced his squad for the pre-season tour and it is a mix of first-team and youth team players. Summer signings Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen have made the squad, but 10 out of the 11 players involved at the European Championships have been omitted. Three Lions stars Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose have been given an extended holiday.
