Kevin Prince Boateng has accused the AC Milan fans of damaging the clubs moral by staying away from their matches. Boateng has stressed that the AC Milan fans play a vital role in inspiring the players and playing to half empty stadiums will only give the opposition the advantage.
The Ghana star remarked: "In all honesty, I thought it would be full. We're champions of Italy, it was Friday night and the game was interesting. Fernando Torres has been searching for his best form since his January switch to Chelsea but has still only managed one goal for the club and with the emergence of Daniel Sturridge.
"We have four wonderful strikers and all compete for the position. All offer different things because they are different talents. The choice fell to Anelka. It's nothing special, Fernando has been doing magnificently well in the last three games," Villas-Boas said.
