Reports from Goal.com claim that the agent of Liverpool flop Alberto Aquilani is still looking for a new club for his client with AC Milan the favourites for the Italian's signature.
It is said that the midfielder's agent, Franco Zavaglia, will meet with AC Milan in the coming days to try and thrash out a deal that will see the talented midfielder end his Anfield nightmare. "[AC Milan CEO] Adriano Galliani knows all the facts and he is well informed and we heard what he said last week," agent Zavaglia told Itasportpress.
AC Milan and Fiorentina have been linked with the player who spend last season on loan with Juventus but AC Milan are the side that are looking at the possibility of a permanent deal. Kenny Dalglish is said to be willing to allow the former Roma player to leave the club if AC Milan offer a fair price.
Eurosport claims that Wolfsburg defender Simon Kjaer will not be joining Roma this summer.
Simon Kjaer's agent Mikkel Beck has claimed that his client has no plans to leave Germany this summer and will not be heading to the Italian capital.
"All I can say is that he is a Wolfsburg player and continues to focus on the Bundesliga. I have no appointments lined up with the club or with Roma," he told Eurosport.
The 22 year old Denmark defender has been on the radar of Europe's top clubs for the past two years but thus far has decided to stay in Germany. Roma were believed to be close to signing the player but will now be forced to look elsewhere.

The 28 year old has been the talk of much transfer speculation this summer but according to reports in Italy Juventus are now ready to make an offer for the France international. Ribery is said to be happy in Germany but Juventus are willing to offer Bayern Munich an offer they can't refuse in a bid to land the player before the 31 August transfer deadline.
