A close friend of former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos has admitted supplying cocaine to an undercover reporter.

35-year-old rapper Mike GLC, also known as Micheal Coombs, previously denied the allegations but has now pleaded guilty to supplying the Class A drug to an undercover Sun on Sunday reporter and will be sentenced at the end of the trial.

The N-Dubz singer, 26, is also on trial at Southwark Crown Court in South London accused of brokering the £860 cocaine deal.

The hit-maker allegedly told undercover reporter, Mazher Mahmood, that she could arrange for him to buy cocaine from Coombs between May 20 and May 24 last year.

Contostavlos, of Friern Barnet, north London, denies helping Mr Mahmood to obtain 0.5oz (13.9g) of the Class A drug.

The N-Dubz star was arrested along with Coombs after the undercover sting last year and was said in court to have played a "significant role" by putting Mahmood in touch with Coombs.

The on going trial is just one of many troubles for the brunette star who was axed from the X Factor in 2013 and is currently involved in a separate on going trial with a blogger who claims the singer assaulted him at V-Festival.

N-Dubz band member, Fazer, recently revealed N-Dubz are planning to re-unite after their four year hiatus.

Speaking at the Malibu Rum Pina Colda Day party in London, Fazer said "We've been so busy with our own commitments that we haven't had time to come back yet. But we're going to start recording in the second half of next year."
