Who Is Nathan Louis-Fernand? Meet Rachel Zegler's Rumoured New Boyfriend from 'Evita'
Rachel Zegler's West End debut in Evita takes a romantic twist as she's seen kissing co-star Nathan Louis Fernand at a London performance - here's all you need to know about him.

Nathan Louis Fernand, a West End performer, has made headlines after being seen kissing West Side Story actress Rachel Zegler on July 6 in London. The photographs, taken at Sabrina Carpenter's BST Hyde Park concert, show the couple holding hands and kissing, possibly confirming a budding romance.
So, who is Nathan Louis Fernand? Though not yet a household name, the dancer and actor has slowly increased his prominence on the London stage, with appearances in Magic Mike Live, Hamilton, and, most recently, Evita at the London Palladium.
From Dancer to West End Swing
Fernand, who was originally trained in musical theatre and classical dance, is well-known on the theatre circuit for his versatility. He was part of the ensemble in Magic Mike Live, a successful London performance co-directed by Channing Tatum. Prior to it, he had been in productions such as The Lion King and & Juliet, where he was recognised for his athletic stage presence.

Fernand joined the production of Evita in 2025 as a swing, a position that required extreme flexibility and covered many ensemble roles. Castmates and creatives have commended his performance, despite the fact that he had previously been unknown to the public.

According to LW Theatres, Fernand is part of a diverse and vibrant group that will accompany Rachel Zegler's highly anticipated West End premiere as Eva Perón.
Rachel Zegler's First Romance Since Split
Rachel Zegler, 24, is most recognised for her breakout performance in Steven Spielberg's West Side Story, which was followed by appearances in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and Disney's live-action Snow White film.
Zegler was previously in a relationship with her West Side Story co-star, Josh Andrés Rivera. However, allegations of their breakup appeared in early 2024, and the Hyde Park appearance with Fernand is her first public love outing since.
According to photographs and video footage published by People, TMZ, and Just Jared, the two appeared comfortable and loving as they stood near the VIP section throughout Carpenter's set, resembling a couple.
Evita at the London Palladium: Where They Met
The modern version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, directed by Jamie Lloyd, is now running at the London Palladium until September 6. The production stars Zegler as Eva Perón, Diego Andrés Rodriguez as Che, and James Olivas as Juan Perón.
The group, which includes Fernand as swing, has received accolades for its dynamic energy and stylised movement. Zegler's performance of 'Don't Cry for Me Argentina' has already gone popular on social media, with TikTok users describing it as 'goosebumps-inducing.'
The full cast roster, revealed by London Theatre News, includes Fernand as well as budding talents Myla Carmen and Barney Hudson, adding to the show's hype.
Romance and Rising Fame
While neither Zegler nor Fernand have issued an official comment, the timing of their public kiss at the height of Evita's press tour has stoked suspicion about their off-stage relationship. It's unclear whether this summer romance will last beyond curtain call, but one thing is certain: Nathan Louis Fernand has definitely entered the spotlight.

For West End watchers and theatre aficionados alike, he's one to keep an eye on, both for his theatrical talent and for his burgeoning star status.
