Wimbledon 2015: Andy Murray seeded third but could face Rafael Nadal in last 16

2013 champion Andy Murray has been seeded third for Wimbledon this year, but could face an early meeting with Rafael Nadal at the All England Club.

The Spaniard, a 14-time Grand Slam winner, has endured a frustrating period with injury of late and drops from second to 10th seed for the tournament which begins on 29 June.

World number one Novak Djokovic retains his place as first seed, meanwhile, followed by Roger Federer. Murray is likely to face one of those two at the semi-final stage, should the Briton progress that far.

French Open champion Stan Wawrinka, who has never progressed past the quarter-final stage at Wimbledon, is fourth while Kei Nishikori is seeded fifth.

Tomas Berdych, Milos Raonic, David Ferrer, Marin Cilic and Nadal round off the top 10.

In the women's draw, Serena Williams leads the way with two-time champion Petra Kvitova second and Romania's Simona Halep third. Maria Sharapova and Caroline Wozniacki are also in the top five.
