While Black Friday has typically been an American event, in the last four years it has crossed the Atlantic in a big way and, along with Cyber Monday on 1 December, will represent the busiest period of online shopping for the whole year.

Research from eMarketer suggests that e-commerce will account for over 15% of total UK Christmas sales in 2014, up 1.9% from 2013 thanks to growth of 16.5% to £52.45 billion this year.

While a lot of the attention is these days focused on Black Friday deals online, there are of course still in-store bargains to be grabbed with many stores opening at midnight on Thursday to offer cut-price deals ahead of Christmas.

We will be covering all the latest deals in our Black Friday Live Blog from this Thursday as well as updating this page to make sure you have all the information you need to make the most of all the offers.
