Overview

World number two Andy Murray has been in brilliant form of late, finding himself on a 22-match winning streak which includes capturing a second Wimbledon title and defending his Olympic gold medal.

He comes into this clash on back of a clinical 6-3, 6-3 victory over Milos Raonic in the semi-final. Murray who fired 18 winners and saved all three break points during the game has now won 600 games in his career while also registering his 200th Masters victory earlier in the tournament.

The 29-year-old who hasn't lost a set in the tournament so far is the definite favourite to win on Sunday with the Scot looking to add to his two Cincinnati Masters titles winning it in 2008 and 2011.

His opponent Marin Cilic has not had a very good 2016 so far, but has suddenly discovered top form which draws parallels with his shock US Open triumph. This will be the first final of a Masters tournament that Cilic will be playing, which is incredible considering that he has played 70 such tournaments in his career to date.

The Bosnian player is not expected to ruffle any feathers and is unlikely to cause an upset against Murray.
