Gonzalo Higuain is set to remain at Napoli for the foreseeable future despite keen interest from Premier League big guns Arsenal and Chelsea, according to his brother Nicolas Higuain, who also acts as his agent. The Argentinean striker has been subject to interest from clubs across Europe since last summer and it is likely that they will return in the summer yet again owing to his blistering form this season.

The 28-year-old has been a stand out performer for the club as they challenge Juventus for the Serie A title this season. He has scored 24 goals in 25 league games and the side are currently two points behind the reigning champions with a game in hand. The former Real Madrid star is the top goal scorer in Europe at the moment and is a priority summer target for the Blues, according to the Mirror.

Apart from the Stamford Bridge outfit, the Gunners are also keen admirers of the forward and have been linked with moves over the past couple of seasons. According to talkSPORT, Bayern Munich are also interested in signing the free scoring forward. Higuain's agent, however, has made it clear that his client is not looking for a move away from Naples as he is keen on competing in the Champions League with Napoli next season.

"We have a contract and there's no chance of playing elsewhere, but we can't think about the Champions League now, but just about playing every game," Higuain told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, as quoted on talkSPORT.

"There are still many points to play for. When Gonzalo plays it's normal that there's a high chance of scoring goals, he's having a great season," Higuain's brother added.
