Aston Villa welcome Premier League champions Manchester City to Villa Park on Saturday.

Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is set for 3pm BST. Live coverage is on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD.. Catch the highlights of the match on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:30pm BST.

Overview

Aston Villa come into this game following a 3-0 defeat against Chelsea in their previous Premier League encounter and this is the third week in a row that they are facing a team from last season's top four. Before Chelsea they faced Arsenal a game which they also lost.

After a good start to the season, Paul Lambert's men have been brought back to earth, but they are a good side filled with pace and energy. But the best news of the week for the Villans is the return of star striker Christian Benteke, who has returned to training and could possibly start on the bench against the Premier League champions.

Meanwhile, Manchester City have not had the best of starts to their campaign and will be looking to get into top gear against the Villans on Saturday.

The Citizens come into this game following a disappointing 1-1 draw against AS Roma in the Champions League and Manuel Pellegrini will hope for an improved performance on Saturday.

Edin Dzeko is sure to start for the Cityzens following his incredible performance against Hull City last weekend and Frank Lampard could get another run out as he has been impressive since his move from Chelsea.

What Managers Say

Paul Lambert: "They are a top side with fabulous players. People should not be blinded by saying that Man City are on this decline – they're still a really top side. We will have to be at 100 per-cent (to get anything from the game). Last season we won 3-2 and came from behind twice. On any given day you can win a game."

Manuel Pellegrini: "One of the things we did last year was improving clean sheets. We had a second half of the season with a lot of clean sheets but the same thing as I said about other things, at this moment last year we conceded more goals. But of course we cannot concede five goals in three [Premier League] games. We scored seven and we draw two games and won one, but it's too much."
