Missing girl Jayden Parkinson has been found buried in a disturbed grave, police believe.

The discovery of a body was made at All Saints Church cemetery, Didcot. The 17-year-old went missing from the town on 3 December.

Her ex-boyfriend Ben Blakeley has been charged with her murder and with perverting the course of justice. Police confirmed a 17-year-old faces charges in relation to the enquiry.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that we have found a body in a recently disturbed grave in the cemetery of All Saints Church, Didcot.

"The body is believed to be that of missing teenager Jayden Parkinson. A formal identification has yet to take place.

"Jayden's family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.

"Our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult and distressing time."

The search for missing Jayden has involved more than 100 officers, with citizens' search parties also combing the area. The teenager was last seen leaving the town's railway station.
