Chrisean Rock Adds Blueface's Prison Tattoos to Face Portrait After Two Laser Removal Sessions

Reality television personality Chrisean Rock has updated her facial portrait of rapper Blueface to include details from his newer facial tattoos, reversing an earlier attempt to remove the image through laser treatment.

Tattoo artist Nihat Uzuntepe shared before-and-after photographs and videos of the refreshed portrait on Instagram on Tuesday, 13 October. His caption described the work as an 'upgrade after 2 sessions laser removal,' documenting the changes to the design.

The update followed Blueface's proposal to Rock at Problem Lounge in Scottsdale, Arizona, on 11 October. Days later, the rapper had Rock's name tattooed across his upper back during a livestream, adding another public gesture to their renewed relationship.

Updated Portrait Reflects Blueface's Prison Tattoos

The refreshed portrait retains Blueface's likeness while incorporating several facial tattoos he acquired during his incarceration between 2024 and 2025. XXL identified the additions as including Louis Vuitton, Chase and Major League Baseball (MLB) logos.

Uzuntepe originally tattooed Blueface's portrait on Rock's cheek in January 2024. The latest photographs show how the design had faded following laser treatment before the artist added the newer details.

According to The Shade Room, the tattoo session took place at Blueface's Los Angeles home in the early hours of Tuesday, 13 October. Blueface had Rock's name tattooed across his upper back first, before Uzuntepe refreshed the portrait on her cheek.

From Laser Removal to an Engagement

Rock began laser removal of the portrait while the couple were separated. In December 2025, Complex reported footage of her undergoing treatment to remove tattoos associated with Blueface.

The original portrait became a public symbol of their relationship when Rock had Blueface's likeness tattooed on her cheek in January 2024, while he was in prison. She shared footage of the process on Instagram with a caption expressing support for his release. The pair welcomed a son in September 2023 and have since experienced repeated separations and reconciliations.

The latest work reverses the fading caused by the removal process. However, neither Uzuntepe's post nor the available reports confirm whether Rock intends to keep the portrait permanently or undergo further laser sessions.

Blueface proposed to Rock on 11 October at Problem Lounge, where illuminated signs reading 'Will You Marry Me?' were brought to the couple's section. Footage showed Rock accepting the proposal. The engagement followed another public split: in an interview published on 31 August, Rock said their relationship was over but described their connection as 'unconditional love.' Blueface had also split from Nevaeh Akira, who gave birth to his son in August 2026. Reports indicated that Rock had returned to his life before the proposal.

What Blueface Has Said About His Tattoos

Blueface has previously discussed his decision to get facial tattoos while in prison. In a December 2025 interview with Keke Palmer, he said he began getting them about eight months into his sentence and had wanted to be heavily tattooed since childhood.

He has also explained the meaning behind some of the designs, including the Chase Bank logo, which he linked to the phrase 'I chase bank, bank with Chase.' The details help explain the changes now reflected in Rock's portrait, which has been updated to resemble his current appearance.

It remains unclear whether Rock intends to continue laser removal or keep the revised design. The couple have not announced a wedding date following their engagement.
