'I Shouldn't Be Scared To Move On': Chris Brown's Ex Diamond Brown Claims He Made Death Threats Against Boyfriend
Diamond Brown says alleged harassment has made her fearful of pursuing new relationships; Brown's legal team has denied the accusations and requested specific details

Chris Brown's ex-partner Diamond Brown has accused the singer of making death threats against her current boyfriend and his twin brother, alleging in new court documents that his conduct has left her afraid to move on with her life and pursue new relationships.
According to filings reported by TMZ, the claims form part of an ongoing legal dispute between the pair over their four-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown. Diamond said she and Brown ended their relationship more than two years ago and alleged that he has repeatedly reacted angrily when she has dated other men since the split.
Diamond Brown Alleges Death Threats
According to the documents, Diamond, who shares four-year-old Lovely with the singer, alleges Brown is engaging in 'disturbing behavior', making death threats against her most recent boyfriend and his twin brother.
'He has made death threats against my most recent boyfriend, and continued threats to not only him, but also to his twin brother. I understand that he has also had third parties make threats,' Diamond alleges, after saying that Brown gets 'extremely angry with me when I have dated other men since our break up.'
Diamond said she experienced similar issues with another man she began dating after her relationship with Brown ended. She alleged that both relationships ultimately ended because of what she described as harassment from the singer.
'Both of these relationships broke up because of Chris's Harassment,' she said. The R&B star has denied the accusations through his legal team. His attorney reportedly asked Diamond's lawyers to provide specific details about the alleged conduct so it could be addressed.
'Scared To Move On'
Diamond also alleged that Brown's behaviour has affected her ability to move forward with her life. She said she should not have to live in fear of pursuing another relationship because of what she characterised as Brown's anger and resentment. 'I should not be left to be scared to move on with my life because of Chris's anger and resentment,' Diamond said.
She further claimed that she had raised the issue with Brown's attorney through her own lawyer in March and asked that the alleged behaviour stop. Diamond said she had taken no action over the alleged behaviour at that point, but said she had asked Brown's attorney through her own lawyer in March to have the conduct stop.
Diamond also alleged that Brown recently became angry with her during their daughter's birthday celebration, claiming the incident occurred in front of Lovely. She characterised the alleged confrontation as 'harmful and especially inappropriate,' adding that Brown had also 'attempted to harass me through social media.'
Restraining Order Considered
Diamond said she had tried to avoid seeking a domestic violence restraining order, but was considering doing so because of what she described as Brown's alleged behaviour. She was not seeking such an order according to the report.
Diamond previously asked the court to award her legal and physical custody of their daughter while giving Brown visitation rights. Brown subsequently asked for joint legal and physical custody. However, Diamond alleged that Brown had not asked to see their daughter in the previous months. 'in the last six to seven months, he has not once asked me to see Lovely,' she said.
Child Support Dispute Escalates
Diamond has also accused the 'Under the Influence' singer of failing to provide enough financial support for their daughter.
In the latest filing, Diamond reportedly said Brown earns significantly more than she does and accused him of refusing to provide financial documents needed to determine an appropriate child-support payment. She also alleged that he 'stalled all discovery attempts, and attempted to run Diamond out of money.'
In February, Diamond publicly accused Brown of trying to interfere with her relationship, while Jada Wallace, Brown's current partner, pushed back and accused Diamond of preventing the singer from seeing Lovely. Brown later indicated publicly that he did not want to participate in the online dispute.
