Scottish soul singer Emeli Sandé has teamed up with Grammy award-winning star Alicia Keys on her fifth studio album.

The collaboration comes just months after duo worked together on Sande's best-selling album, Our Version Of Events.

Sandé, whose hits include Next to Me and My Kind of Love, returned the favour by co-writing three tracks on the US star's album, Girl On Fire.

"Well, Emeli Sandé, we wrote three incredible, beautiful songs," Keys said of the collaboration.

"I did one with Bruno Mars, and one with Jamie XX.

"That is one of my favourite songs on the album. It's called When It's All Over and our combination is totally crazy."

Sandé, who performed at the Olympic closing ceremony this summer, has also been busy promoting Keys' newly unveiled track Not Even The King. Meanwhile her own debut album, Our Version Of Events, continues to be the is the biggest selling album of the year in the UK.

"So excited for you to hear this!!" she tweeted to fan alongside a link to the track. "Wrote this with @aliciakeys. This lyric video is beautiful!"

Girl On Fire is set to be officially released on 26 November.
