A small plane crashed into a Florida trailer park on Tuesday (13 October), destroying two mobile homes in a giant fire.

Aerial images showed charred debris and burnt out homes at the site of the crash. Footage filmed on the scene showed mobile homes burning, as frightened residents looked on. Police and fire officials were unable to confirm the number of casualties that various media outlets reported as between two and three.

The Red Cross said it was providing "emergency assistance" to 10 adults, local media reports. National Transportation Safety Board investigators are expected at the scene on 14 October.
