Thousands of Irish dancers have flocked to the the Waterfront Hall in Belfast to compete in The All Ireland Irish Dancing Championships – the longest running major competition in the Irish dance calendar.
Over the course of six days, competitors will dance for the judges with the hope of qualifying for the World Irish Dancing Finals, which will take place in Dublin in 2017. The event is expected to bring some 7,000 spectators to Northern Ireland's capital.
