Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon who has been on a landmark visit to Myanmar, praised Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi after her National League for Democracy party, who agreed to put aside a dispute with the government and take their seats in parliament.

Suu Kyi and her party will make their historic debut in the assembly tomorrow after backing down over the wording of an oath for new members of parliament.
