Andy Murray's fiancée Kim Sears responded to the Australian Open swearing outcry by wearing a Parental Advisory: Explicit Content T-shirt on Sunday (1 February) at the Australian Open final.

Sears's expletive-laden rant towards Tomas Berdych at the Australian Open men's semi-final on 29 January was caught on camera and went viral on social media.

She's always had a potty mouth. Gets it from her mother of course. Quite amazing how much has been made of this, but it's pretty emotional in that box when you're close to someone... and it was a feisty match.

"F*****g have that, you Czech flash f***", and "Take that, you flash f**k," Sears was reportedly heard shouting at Berdych after Murray broke back in a tense first set.

While Murray defended his fiancée saying: "In the heat of the moment, you can say stuff that you regret." Sears' father Nigel dismissed the controversy, joking that his daughter had inherited her "potty mouth" from her mother.

Nigel Sears said, reported The Independent: "Disgraceful behaviour. She's always had a potty mouth. Gets it from her mother of course.

"Quite amazing how much has been made of this, but it's pretty emotional in that box when you're close to someone... and it was a feisty match.

"Andy's a huge figure in the game, so naturally her association with him means there's always going to be a certain spotlight on Kim.

"I think by and large she deals with it extremely well. I think people are reading a lot into this."

Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic won his fifth Australian Open after defeating Murray in the Australian Open final in Melbourne on Sunday (1 February).
