Atletico Madrid duo Koke and Juanfran have ended any speculation linking them with moves to the Premier League by signing with new deals at the Vicente Calderon.

Koke's astonishing performances in midfield as a playmaker last season caught the eye of a number of big European clubs, and helped him force his way into Spain's World Cup squad.

Barcelona have reportedly earmarked the 22-year-old midfielder as Xavi Hernandez's long-term replacement while Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has expressed his admiration several times for the Spaniard.

Manchester United have also been monitoring his situation since last summer when David Moyes made an approach to secure his services.

Meanwhile, Juanfran recently revealed Arsenal were interested in securing his services to replace Bacary Sagna after the 29-year-old defender player's crucial role in Atletico Madrid's La Liga title success.

"I know Arsenal are interested in me and that they like my style. I haven't said yes or no because there has not been a formal offer. There has been interest, just as there was last year," Juanfran said.

Indeed, reports in Spain claimed that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenge approached the Spanish international last summer and again this one.

However, it now looks like the Premier League giants will have to look elsewhere for targets as both Koke and Juanfran have commited their futures to the Vicente Calderon with new deals.

"Koke and Juanfran have extended their contracts with our club until 2019 and 2018 respectively. Both players have been basic pieces in Atletico's recent successes and their renewals are great news for our club", the Madrid-based team confirmed in their official website.
