Manchester United are considering a double move to sign Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca and Internacional midfielder Rodrigo Dourado, according to the Telegraph.

The 28-year-old Colombian international has been in fine form for the La Liga outfit, as he has scored 21 goals and managed six assists in all competitions. He has also scored four goals for his country as well in five appearances.

United have the services of Robin van Persie, Radamel Falcao and Wayne Rooney, along with James Wilson as the first choice striker in the squad. The former Atletico Madrid star is on a season-long loan and it is unlikely that he will continue at Old Trafford next term.

Falcao has been attracting interest from Liverpool as his agent Jorgen Mendes has already opened talks with the Merseyside club over a potential summer transfer. Louis van Gaal has set his sights on Falcao's compatriot to replace him at United.

Bacca is believed to be available for £15m ($22.3m) and with the 20-time English champions on the lookout for a striker, they could make an approach for the free-scoring attacker.

His contract at Sevilla expires in 2018 and the striker's form has seen him attract interest from the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, United are also on the lookout for a defensive midfielder in the upcoming transfer window. In the last league defeat to Chelsea, Van Gaal was without his two key players Michael Carrick and Daley Blind as the star duo missed the clash due to injuries.

The Dutchman fielded Wayne Rooney in the defensive midfield role and this has forced the Old Trafford club to bring in reinforcements in that position. The Telegraph reports also claim United are interested in signing Dourado.

United have sent scouts to watch the midfielder in action during Internacional's match Brasil de Pelotas. Dourado's style of play and the ability on the ball has seen him being compared to Barcelona star Sergio Busquets.

Van Gaal allowed Anderson to join Internacional in the mid-season transfer window and that could help United in bringing Dourado to England after the end of the season.
