Goldman Sachs on Vodafone
Vodafone rose for a second day as the FTSE closed at 7,031.72 Reuters

Vodafone shares continued to rally as the FTSE 100 closed up a quarter of a percent before the bank holiday.

The telecommunications firm was the index's standout performer, seeing its share price soar 4.64% to a little over 253.70p.

The FTSE 100 closed the day up 18.25 points (+0.26%) at 7,031.72, buoyed by news that the UK government borrowed £6.8bn in April, down from £9.3bn in the same month in 2014.

International Consolidated Airlines Group and easyJet continued to count their losses, as did travel firm TUI.
