Paris Jackson, the teenaged daughter of late pop legend Michael Jackson, is rumoured to be pregnant.

According to the Daily Star, the 16-year-old was spotted with a bulging baby bump while on a dinner date.

"I saw her at dinner and she twice made a toast drinking water instead of wine. That and the prominent stomach bulge got people talking. It's highly unusual to toast with anything but a full glass of wine," the newspaper's source said.

Adding on, the website claimed that there were rumours that Paris was seen shopping for an engagement ring with her boyfriend.

Many Twitter users were outraged by the report and expressed their disbelief.

The tabloids are so disrespectful!!!! How are they gonna say Paris Jackson is pregnant because she drank water, and seemed a little bloated?

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the family said, "I do not comment on her personal life."

Paris has been out of the public eye since she attempted suicide on 5 June last year, by cutting her wrists with a meat cleaver and swallowing 20 Motrin painkillers at her Los Angeles home.

Following that, she was enrolled in the $10m Diamond Ranch Academy in Utah, a secluded treatment centre for 12 to 18-year-olds that specialises in depression and grief management.
