Pep Guardiola's Manchester City will meet Scottish champions Celtic and the Spaniard's former club Barcelona in the Champions League group stage. The three sides have been drawn together in Group B alongside Borussia Monchengladbach of Germany.
Leicester City, the current Premier League champions, have been handed a favourable-looking draw, in which they will play Porto, Club Brugge and FC Copenhagen in their debut campaign.
Meanwhile, under-pressure Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will return to France to face Paris Saint-Germain, with Basel and Ludogorets making up the remainder of Group A.
Elsewhere, Arsenal's eternal rivals Tottenham Hotspur will play Monaco, CSKA Moscow and Bayer Leverkusen on their return to Europe's premier club competition.
