Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore has revealed that Angel Di Maria is willing to make a move to France after an unproductive year at Manchester United.

The French Champions have been heavily linked with a move for the Argentine, with the Guardian reporting that the player is disillusioned with life at Manchester and is pushing for a move. He failed to turn up for United's pre-season preparations in the US and Louis van Gaal has famously revealed that he has no idea about his whereabouts.

The midfielder signed for a record £59.7m ($93m) last season but reports suggest that he is set to leave for a sizeable reduction on his original fee. PSG manager Laurent Blanc has revealed that he expects the midfielder to complete a move to Paris in the near future as the club tries to conclude a fee for the player in the recent future.

Di Maria spent the better part of June with his national team in Chile for the Copa America where they were defeated in the finals by the host nation on penalties. Pastore, who was also part of the squad, revealed that Di Maria was keen to know about the ways of Paris and was keen to complete a move as soon as possible.

"I told him to join us," Pastore told Le Parisien, as quoted by Goal.

"He also asked me many questions about the club, the city and the way of life for his family.

"He wants to come. He is a very great player. Plus, he alone can win important matches," he added.

United have been heavily linked with a move for Pedro, according to the Daily Mail, and are set to trigger his release clause for him to come in as a replacement for Di Maria. The Barcelona man will have big boots to fill, with the cub looking to compensate for the 10 assists he put in for the club last season, second only to Cesc Fabregas in the league.
