France play host to reigning Six Nations champions Ireland in the second round of fixtures in this year's tournament.

The French almost suffered a shock opening defeat to Italy in the first round, but managed to narrowly prevail 23-21 at the Stade de France. But les Bleus face much tougher opposition in Ireland, who beat them as recently as the World Cup 24-9 in their Pool D match.

Joe Schmidt's men will be hoping to get their title challenge back on track after an enthralling 16-16 draw with Wales at the Aviva Stadium last week, where the hosts blew a 13 point lead to let the Welsh come back into the game. There can be no such failings in France if Ireland wish to make history and become the first side to win three successive Six Nations titles.

In this video, IBTimes UK sports reporter George Flood previews the match and gives his predictions on who will emerge victorious.

France vs Ireland kicks off at 2.25pm GMT on 13 February. Live coverage is available on BBC One and BBC Radio 5 Live.
