Four members of the same family are due in court on Tuesday (10 May) charged with offences including murder and attempted murder after a double-shooting at a caravan park in Somerset that killed a father and injured his son. Wilfred Isaacs, 50, was blasted to death at the Chubbards Cross caravan site in Ilton on the night of Friday 6 May. His son, who is in his 20s, was also shot but survived the attack.
A huge police search for suspect Charlie Broadway eventually led to him handing himself over to police.
Five members of the same family have so far been arrested on suspicion of involvement with the shooting, four of whom are in court on Tuesday 10 May. Charlie Broadway, 23, and William "Billy" Broadway, 18, and Bonnie Broadway, 29, who are all from Ilton, where the caravan site is situated, will appear in custody at Bristol Crown Court.
The men are charged with murder, attempted murder and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life. Bonnie is charged with assisting an offender. A third man has since been charged with offences related to the attack. John Broadway, 37, is accused of attempted murder and firearms offences and will appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Three other women, two aged 36 and Donna Broadway, who is 26, were also arrested over the shooting and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
